clik: the claude code setup i stopped rebuilding every project
a plugin i enable once that gives every project the same review agents, safety hooks, and a code-graph claude actually navigates, plus a /clik command that tailors it to whatever the project is.
every new project used to start the same way: open claude code, paste in the build commands, re-explain the conventions, re-add the hook that stops it from touching .env. by the third repo i was copy-pasting the same CLAUDE.md around by hand. that's not a setup, that's a chore.
so i built clik instead: a global plugin you enable once, plus a /clik command that tailors it per project.
the global layer ships review agents, workflow skills, and hooks. the hooks matter most, because they're the difference between a rule and a guarantee, an instruction in CLAUDE.md is advisory and claude can drift from it, a hook sees the tool call before it runs and can just block it. so blocking a force-push, catching a leaked credential, formatting on save, those live as hooks instead of prose. the other global piece is a code-graph of every symbol and call edge that claude queries instead of grepping blind, kept current by rebuilding after every edit and commit.
/clik is the per-project half: point it at a plain-english description of the project and, instead of picking from a library of stack templates, it reasons from that description plus the real codebase and writes a lean CLAUDE.md, the rules that actually apply, and matching permissions. no premade profiles, those just go stale and miss your actual gotchas.
day to day it's a loop: pick up an issue, get a plan from the architect agent if it's a real feature, build it, let the test-writer skill catch new code automatically, run a review that only fans out to the specialist agents relevant to the diff, then close the issue and open the pr.
the honest gap: none of this binds edits made outside a claude code session, and the tailoring is only as good as the description you give it.
